Scientific production gains scale and visibility
The partnerships, in effect since April 2024, involve seven of the world’s leading scientific publishers: American Chemical Society, Association for Computing Machinery, Elsevier, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Royal Society Publishing, Springer Nature, and Wiley.
With these agreements, Brazil expands its presence in international scientific journals and strengthens the dissemination of knowledge produced in the country. This policy contributes to democratizing access to publication and ensuring that quality research achieves greater global visibility.
Furthermore, open access allows published articles to be read, shared, and reused by researchers and institutions anywhere in the world.
