She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2011), and a double-degree PhD from the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Program at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine and the Surgery Department of the University Medical Center Groningen of the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RUG) (2021).
She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Program at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine.
