She holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Institute of Biosciences at USP (1996), a PhD in Clinical Emergencies from the USP School of Medicine (2007), and a tenured professorship from the Department of Pathology at the USP School of Medicine (2020).
She is currently a collaborating professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at FMUSP, a level VI scientific researcher at the Laboratory of Experimental Therapeutics (LIM 20), and a Research Leader at the Thoracic Surgery Research Laboratory (LIM61) at the LIM Institute-HC-FMUSP.
