He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Ceará (2004), completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Municipal Public Servant Hospital (2007), completed his Cardiology Residency at InCor-HCFMUSP (2009), and earned a PhD in Science from the University of São Paulo (2014).
He is currently a collaborating professor at FMUSP, an attending physician and researcher at the Atherosclerosis Clinical Unit of the Heart Institute (InCor-HCFMUSP), and is a Fellow Coordinator in Atherosclerosis at FMUSP. He also serves as Clinical Research Coordinator and Supervisor of the Mezzanine ICU at Hospital 9 de Julho.
