He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Mackenzie University (1993) and a Doctorate in Science from the University of São Paulo (2006).
He is currently a Scientific Researcher in Experimental Thoracic Surgery at the Medical Research Laboratories Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo School of Medicine and a Teaching Professor in the Department of Cardiopneumology at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine.
